Customer had a toilet in lower level that was leaking from the bottom of it. Toilet was sealed with grout so had to remove it. Replaced wax ring that was already almost gone and also replaced supply line.
Customer states that thermostat flickers/resets itself during adjustments. Replaced thermostat and attempted to set it up; same issue. Checked furnace wiring and noticed common wire wrapped/not used. Checked continuity and connected to circuit. All systems ok. Showed customer humidifier startup procedure during cold season and how to secure during off season. Checked filter/blower compartment for possible restrictions. Started a/c unit and allowed to run for 15 min. Outside ambient air temp 63*F, suction/discharge psi 118.5/245.9, SLT/LLT 49.8/76.4, VSAT/LSAT 40.0/82.4, SH/SC 9.8/6.0, supply/return air temps 48/70*F(22*F diff). Replaced leaky shraeder valve on LL. Air handler controls & wiring are ok, no faults or irregular component values.
I ran my cable about 45 feet. Stoppage is clear. I also installed a new anglestop under the water closet i pulled.
I augered the right side water closet. Stoppage is clear at this time.
Bill H. I preformed a minor rebuild on the basement water closet. One year warranty on the repair.
Inspected humidifier. Water panel degraded, condensate pump full of crud, vinyl tubing has slime buildup as a result of the condensate pump. Cleaned pump switch components and reservior. Blew down vinyl tubing and replaced humidifier water panel. Flushed pump to move water through tubing and cycled humidifier. All said components are clean, operating well at this time. Went out to customer house for water closet stoppage augua toilet several times but continue to give slow flush show to customer after customer decided to get new replacement customer supply wait for customer to purchase and did new install when pulled toilet discovered they was two cake of soap stuck in toilet trap
Bill H. I found a few things going on in the home. I gave options to have the issues addressed. I found a gas leak in the utility room. I preformed a gas line repair near the water heater. One year warranty on the repair.
Pinhole leak in 1/2” quest line in basement. 11 year old water heater has never been serviced and is full of sediments causing issues on entire plumbing system. Cold side nipple is very rusty and about to leak. Customer has quest manifold system. Install new 50 gallon electric water heater with 5 gallon expansion tank Repair pinhole leak as courtesy.
Removed leaking garbage disposal replaced with new badger five garbage disposal.
