Tuneup on a 2008 train heat pump split system 3 1/2 ton. Found the evaporator coil in very bad shape system is still running but coil needs to be replaced. This is an R 22 system. The compressor is over ramping should be running about 8 A it’s running at 11.2 A . The capacitor is running week it’s supposed to be a 35 it’s running at 27 capacitor needs to be replaced. Overall recommend replacement of system due to age condition future repairs and overall efficiency. Customer has a dental appointment did not have time to talk to me further about the issues.
