Prepaid maintenance on a 2010 train heat pump split system. During inspection found the evaporator coil in really bad shape due to heavy corrosion. This coil is at Fairpoint and needs to be replaced. The outdoor unit has a corroded filter drier . No leaks are present at this time though the system is not operating as efficiently as it could . Ultimately recommending replacement of system due to heavy corrosion ,future repairs ,age ,and efficiency. System has a variable speed air handler on a 13 seer condenser ,customer might want to consider going up in seer rating . Homeowner is going to do his research and let us know when you would like to speak to a comfort adviser about replacement. Unit that is here can fail at any time.
