Evaluations of ductwork affected by water line bursting. 2 Sub plenums that were directly near water pipe have been affected. Insides are damp which could lead to growth that can spread throughout the plenum and eventually to the ductwork. In the pictures you can see where water has damaged the mastic that was sealing the Ducts to the top of the unit. Water infiltrated these areas. A section of 4 in flex duct was damaged due to the plumber having to make access to the water pipe that burst. At least 10 foot of this needs to be replaced. The unit itself was not affected as it was at least 10 ft away from the pipe that burst.
