We began living in our purchased home in early June 2022. While it worked at closing testing/inspection, we didn't have much occasion to use the gas fireplace insert over the summer and it wouldn't light in January when we tried to use it. We called Adkisson Air1 and they sent Joe to our home on January 24. It took just over 1.5 weeks for a tech to show up for a non-emergency tune-up, since we have a regular furnace and didn't "need" the fireplace. Joe was very clean, courteous, and thorough. The former homeowners didn't leave any documentation and also didn't do any preventative maintenance, so Adkisson Air1's maintenance was a good idea. Joe was very thorough and explained the elements of the fireplace and how to take it apart and put in batteries if the power went out and pointed out various features. He also noted a few safety issues like the builder put trim around the fireplace that wasn't "unsafe" per se, but wasn't up to code. He gave general pricing for options we asked about and specific pricing for recommended upgrades. We stuck with the tune up for now, but we'll call Adkisson Air1 in the future. The whole transaction, including credit card check-out and email of all information, was very easy.

Armstrong furnace troubleshooting. Found failed hot surface igniter. Performed ignition service. Cleaned sensor and burners and replaced ignitor with new. System is operational.
Gas log startup turned on gas , bled air from line, lit pilot and tested. Gas log is operational.
