Called AirNow on a Friday afternoon. The fan motor would cycle on and off for no reason. Technician was there in 2 hrs to diagnose our A/C. Motor was under warranty but our system was close to the end of life for an A/C unit so we were given the option of getting pricing for a new unit. AirNow sent someone out within 30 minutes of technician writing up our issue. We ended up going with the replacement motor and only paid for labor. Fast, friendly, and no pressure to purchase a new unit. I really appreciate that and that's the main reason we really like using AirNow.

Diagnosed system found low voltage wire misplaced and thermostat need to program. Fixed wiring and programmed thermostat. Checked condenser unit condition and it’s not too great. It’s rusted out and falling apart could possibly broke down soon
Arrived to do a maintenance on a York system vertical in closet. I cleaned and flushed the drain line with water and cleaner. I checked the electrical system. I changed the filter, 16x20x4 per plan. Upon arrival found the system off. Turned it to heat and came on and running. Refrigerant pressures seems high, rusted capacitor and capacitor. Adjusted refrigerant pressures, replaced capacitor, contactor, uv bulb and added compressor kit. System is working fine at this time
ESA 1-2 Maintenance x4 performed today. Checked system operations, tightened electrical connections, rinsed outdoor coils, changed filters, installed new drain pan treatment, replaced UV Lamp bulb x2, flushed all drain lines, client understands rooftop carrier PU has severe rust and should be replaced in the near future to prevent future issues. System operations normal.
Arrived to do a maintenance on 2 carrier systems one I. The attic the other vertical in garage. I cleaned and flushed the drain line with water and cleaner. I checked the electrical system. I changed the filters with media, owner had there own filter media, 2-10x10x1, 1-20x20x1, 1-18x20x1, 1-12x18x1, 1-12x12x1. I recommended the following to keep the systems running like new: The surge protectors are to keep from burning up the board on the condensers. If you get high power surges or lightning strikes in the area it may burn up the boards. The start assists are to help start the condensers easier and last longer. The freeze protectors are to keep from freezing up the coils. If the blower fails or now air flow over the coils it it will freeze the coils. It’s time for your maintenance renewal for both systems. The Uv light is to keep the biological growth out of the air handler and the air that you breath every day. The freeze protector is to keep from freezing up the coils in the air handler. If the blower fails or now air flow over the coils it will freeze the coils. The pan treatment is to keep the algae that builds up in the drain line out of the line and pan. Upon arrival found the thermostat set to 73 degrees and it’s 73 inside the house. Checked thermostat split got 19 degrees split. Check the oil around the condenser and it’s not coming from the unit. System up and running and working fine at this time.
Used a CPS and Testo hygrometer to test the calibrations of the T-10 on the humidity and temperature. Found the thermostats were off on their readings and the CPS and Testo differed by 1% on humidity and .3 degrees in temperature. Adjusted each of the thermostats so they match the other instruments.
