Arturo was a very good tech. I am however hugely disappointed in the unit you sold me. It’s cost me over $5000 to keep it running and I’ve only had it for 5 years. I wouldn’t recommend using Alaska to anyone.
Anthony W. was great! Excellent customer service along with great technical insight. Very helpful!
My technician was Roque. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Knew right away what the problem was and explained in detail what had happened to cause the problem. Very professional demeanor.
I will be requesting him by name for any future service needs.
We requested Justin to be mindful that we just had housekeeping come and to watch debris on our nice hardwood maple floors and to please keep attic access clean from black marks and prints. He stated not to worry he’d clean up afterwards. Unfortunately debris from attic were over the ground and attic cover is dirty with 4 handprints and marks. On top of that. My AC has been working fine with no issues whatsoever. I simply called for a tuneup service because it had been a little while since my last tuneup. He stated that I had a leak and the cost would be around $4000 to replace the part and if I did a quick repair that would be about $1400 as he stated “to be honest those we find to be ineffective”.
RJ came for my seasonal maintenance, pointed out a couple of problems that needed attention to avoid future breakdowns, and gave me options for addressing them without pressure. He was on time, courteous, and professional.
Service was cordial, and friendly. A bit too much sharing of religious beliefs. I responded to an offer for a late summer early fall inspection. The objective was to entice me to sign up for a long term service contract or a least a short term. There was also a soft sell on duct cleaning. I declined the purchases of a service contract and duct cleaning contract. Save your money earn interest on it. Service contracts are a great thing for the company selling them, not so great for consumers.
Roque is a rock star! He almost immediately diagnosed an additional problem with our older system that didn't show up until another problem was solved. He stayed until the system cycled a couple of times to make sure the problem was resolved. Roque explained in detail what he found and why it was causing a problem. He offered to try to clean up a badly calcium contaminated pump, being cognizant of our desire to not invest a lot of money in a system that we know will need to be replaced in the next couple of years. In the end, we opted to have the pump replaced, which he did quickly and professionally.
He was very knowledgeable and professional in performing his job.
Arturo was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He arrived within the time allotted and finished the job quickly with no disruption to our day. I happily give him a five star rating!

I was tasked with diagnosing a problem with a Rheem water heater. I started by checking the power supply and circuit breaker to ensure they were working properly. Then, I inspected the thermostat and burner assembly for any signs of damage or wear. After that, I tested the temperature and pressure relief valve to make sure they were functioning correctly. Finally, I checked the gas valve and combustion air intake for any obstructions or leaks.

I was a home service technician in Alaska, where I provided maintenance and repair services to homes and businesses. One of my most memorable jobs was winterization. Winterization involves preparing homes and businesses for the harsh winter months. This includes insulating pipes, checking heating systems, and installing snow removal equipment. I worked with homeowners to ensure that their homes were safe and comfortable during the winter season. It was a challenging job, but it was also rewarding to know that I was helping people stay warm and safe in their homes.
