The smart motor in air handler died and the base of unit was rusting out due to the installation not being done correctly 12 years ago. Service techs repaired the problems that the old air handler installation had before installing the new system which will make it last longer and work more efficiently. New system should be 35% more efficient which will help with the cost, didn't compare prices but selected "Bay Area Air Conditioning" due to the reviews they have. Happy with everyone I worked with, initial service tech, financial department and installation techs.
