The water generated through condensation in the air handler of my HVAC system during its cooling and dehumidifying cycles was not draining properly. Water would back up in the drain pipe, causing the system to shut itself off. The problem was very difficult to isolate. It ultimately required a modification to the drain pipe and several adjustments to its position but the work was diligently carried out and the problem was solved.
