Upon arrival unit going off on high head pressure remove one and a half pounds of r410 adjust sub cooling to 10° cycle unit to check unit operating well
Customer said unit will not come on and house isn’t cooling well. Cycle unit on found switch on furnace was shut off. Found condenser coil was very dirty. Also was a bad evaporators coil txv. Wasn’t pumping refrigerant to the evaporators coil. The indoor evaporators coil needs to replace. Customer son will call to schedule an estimate. Also wash and clean condenser coil. Bill customer son for the service call.
Check contactor capacitor compressor and fan change filters change belt cycle or conditioner to check clean condenser coil and condensate trap cycle AC to check OK 4L420 belt.
Commercial maintenance Replaced filters Checked burners, inducer, blower. Checked tension on blower belt. Ok
Comtune complete. Replaced both air filters. Inspected and cleaned spark ignition, flame sensor, burners, gas valve, inducer, blower, belt, run caps, safeties, controls and cabinet. Replaced cracked blower drive belt and cycled with ok operation at this time from tstat. Reset tstat to the way it was found. Had to go get belt at part store. Tuneup and filter change $178 new belt $58. Poor cell reception on my end.
T/S not working. Upon arrival I found the thermostat was working properly. However the program was not correct. I programmed the cooling for 9:00 am to 9:00 pm 69* and 9:00 pm to 9:00am 74*. Due to high electric bill I changed the fan mode from on to automatic. For the weekend I programmed 9:00am to 6:00 pm 69*. The temperature was 69* when I arrived and cooling properly. Thermostat is a Braeburn.
