Thanks for keeping the appointment in the middle of a heat wave and then an afternoon thunderstorm. I took off work to be home, so it was very important to keep the commitment. No Cooling. Found A Bad 35+5+370 Dual Run Cap Reading 0+0+370, Replace Cycled Unit Fine At This Time.
Club A/C Tuneup. Replace #201Sg. T-Stat, 69*-51*=18* Drain Trap & Pump, D-T, Blower Motor, R410A, Disconnect, 2=25 Amps, Electrical, 45+5+370 Dual Run Cap, Hose Down, 74* Outside, Remove Leaves And Cottonwood, Cycled Unit Clean And Check.
Air-conditioning tuneup. Condenser coil was washed out. Contactor capacitor and connections were inspected. Condensate drain was flushed and pump was checked. Humidifier bypass damper was closed. Filter was very dirty so I removed and put a temporary filter in for the customer. With the customer supply. Customer is going to investigate replacing the filter on his own. This is an infinity air cleaner. The UV bulb is over one year old and should be replaced as well and the customer is going to investigate replacement. System was bump started and is ready for summertime use.
Checked thermostat. Checked filter. Changed easy flex filter supplied by customer. Flushed out AC trap. Checked temperature drop. 20° temp drop. Checked all electrical connections. Checked contactor. Checked capacitor. Cleaned outdoor coil with hose and water. Cycled system to check. System is operating properly at this time. Thanks Brian. Customer would like to have a Solenoid that was found to be faulty in the heating tuneup. Causing a buzzing and vibrating noise. He would like to have that repair done during the heating tuneup.
