I arrived on site to perform an estimate for the customer. I recommended a Five Star 19 SEER Variable-Speed Air Conditioner as well as a Five Star 96% Variable-Speed Two-Stage Gas Furnace, as they best fit the customers home. The customer will contact us if they decide to go through with the estimate to schedule an installation.
I returned to the customer's home to install a Five Star up to 13 SEER 2 Ton Air Conditioner.
I completed a callback to retrieve the serial number of a coil on a Five Star air conditioner.
I installed a Carrier 96% 60,000 BTU Gas Furnace (pictured below) for customer.
Upon arrival for service call on 2007 ICP furnace, customer said that the blower would come on but no heat would come out the vents and that they heard a rattling noise. Upon inspection of the furnace saw that the inducer motor was completely seized, was able to hand spin it to get it to start but it is making a very loud whining noise and also has rattling going on inducer motor needs to be replaced. Discussed options with customer customer opted to replace the furnace, going in tomorrow morning. Customer has temporary heat.
I performed a tune-up and safety check under a service maintenance agreement on a 2000 Kenmore gas furnace.
Upon inspection of the 2012 Tempstar furnace found that it was showing a pressure switch code was able to find the furnace flow chart for diagnosing the inducer motor online followed flow chart to find that the inducer motor controller was bad discussed options with customer on replacing the inducer motor controller. Customer decided he would instead like to replace the furnace.
Performing our Five Star Tune-Up & Safety Check on a 2012 Temstar. All readings were within manufacturer's specifications, unit operating properly at this time.
