Diag/ system is making continuous clicking noise outside, will only stop if you turn off breaker (system #2 serves left side of the house). Found the reversing valve solenoid coil was making clicking sound due to it receiving incorrect voltage, found O wire is getting 21-24v from the Nest thermostat which is allowing it to stay energized but make noise. Used the Nest thermostat from the other system to verify thermostat is the issue and system is now cooling properly. Customer would like to stay with the Nest thermostat which we don’t carry so he will be replacing it. Also found the surge protector for condenser outside has failed, customer approved replacement at this time. System is working properly.
