I preformed a one time tuneup on the Goodman heat pump (serves upstairs). Testing system operations, component amperages, tested capacitor ratings, cleared the drain line, and inspected the coils. Found outdoor unit was not running but had correct high and low voltage signals. Found the 30/5 dual run capacitor was completely dead, replaced with universal part and the compressor and outdoor fan motor are now coming on. Found the air handler in the upstairs closet needs a 15x22x1 pleated filter and does not have one, also found evaporator coil is very dirty. Found the system has no drain safety switch to prevent water overflow in the event of a clogged drain line. Found the 10 uF blower run capacitor is only reading 6.67 and needs to be replaced as it is causing strain on this motor. Also found the squirrel cage wheel is very dirty and should also be cleaned. Sent estimate for chemically cleaning the evaporator coil in place, removing and cleaning the blower assembly, replacing the weak
