Used coil cleaner on condenser coil. Hooked up gauges and checked pressures and temps. Indoor coil temp was 37. Subcooling was high at 17. Checked indoor split. Found a 15 degree split. System refrigerant is lower than desired. Average life of this unit is 14 years. Due to age, condition, and cost to repair, second opinion is recommended. System is cooling, but future failure is expected. Furnace clean and tune. Cycled system. Removed and cleaned burners and flame sensor. Both ok. Found igniter showing signs of getting worn.
