Performed the level 2 package cleaning. Furnace: The unit is showing signs of wear due to age. There’s rust in the upper compartment from water damage in the past. Heat exchanger is also rusting out. No cracks located in the heat exchanger and it also passed the smoke test. Excessive air was a little high in the exhaust, however, it is not at a concerning level at this time. CO in the exhaust was at normal levels and there was no CO detected in the air. This furnace is currently safe to operate, however, due to age and condition, we cannot gaurantee the future life expectancy. AC: There were no refrigerant leaks detected durning my inspection. The unit is clean and operating properly. Due to age and condition, we cannot gaurantee the life expectancy in the future for this unit as well. It is still running as it should.
