No cool. Customer stated that they had lost power for a few days due to major storm damage in the area. When power came back on, they heard a noise from the thermostat and smelled burning wires. No power to thermostat after that. When I arrived the breakers were off to the furnace and the ac. Turned on both and checked furnace. Had power to the switch, but no low voltage at the board. Found inline fuse tripped. Reset fuse and had power to main board. Reattached old thermostat and inline fuse tripped again indicating short in thermostat. Reset fuse and attached new thermostat. Cycled fan, heat, and ac, all working from new thermostat. Customer will have to set up WiFi for new thermostat. System operating normal at this time. Ac clean and tune recommended. Job complete.
