Came out to investigate a no cool. There was a burning smell and a loud hum coming from the blower. Capacitor tested low, but it had enough power to move the blower motor if needed. There was also 124v coming from the board to the motor. The motor windings have seized. Motor is bad. Average life of system is 12-15 years. Unit is 20 years old. Due to age, condition, and cost for repairs, second opinion is recommended. Jamie will be performing the second opinion after I leave.
