Performed AC clean and tune; inspected the condenser electrical compartment and tested components compressor did tested weak, i then sprayed down the condenser with coil cleaner, cycled the system on and checked pressures and temps 28 degrees of superheat with 23 degrees of sub cooling with the evaporator coil sitting at 31 degrees. This system appears to be low on charge future failure is expected. Due to age, condition, and cost to repair I highly recommend replacement of this system. Due to the “electrostatic filter†in place I am including a quote for an electronic air cleaner to bring better airflow to the system as well as to bring the levels of particles down in the home.
