Completed downflow gas furnace replacement. Disconnected old furnace and removed from house. Set new furnace on a sheet metal box that is attached to the existing supply plenum. Installed an evaporator coil in the new box for future AC installation. Reconnected the gas, electric and pvc venting. Ran new drain hose to the crawl space under home to drain condensate from the furnace and future AC. Installed a new T4 thermostat and relocated it to the living room above couch. Run tested the furnace but will still need a technician start up. We will return in the spring to set the AC condenser and finish connecting it to the system.
