Was here for a furnace cleaning and to do a gas leak search. Performed gas leak search. Found that the gas valve is leaking gas on the outlet side going to the burners. Also the leaking LP gas has corroded the inducer motor bearings and was running loudly. Changed out the inducer motor under a parts warranty. Will have to return with a new gas valve. Office to order a new gas valve and schedule an appointment to make repair. Performed preferred customer furnace cleaning. Cleaned the burners and the flame sensor. Wiped out the inside of the furnace. Cycled the furnace. Performed furnace combustion test. No co in the air stream at this time. Left the gas turned off to the furnace to prevent any more gas from leaking. Also the customer hasn’t had the air conditioner serviced in a couple of years. Upgraded the customer to the package cleaning. Office to call to schedule the cleaning.
