Ac clean and tune. Checked for leaks on indoor coil with refrigerant sniffer. Some indications of possible leak found. They were small indications. Cycled system. Checked compressor and fan motors with megometer. Both ohmed at 60 ohms. This is in the caution range. 5is indicates that the motors are starting to fail and will fail in the future. Used coil cleaner on condenser coil. Hooked up gauges and tested pressures and temps. Both were ok. System appears to currently have the correct charge at this time. Checked indoor split, normal split found. Average life of this unit is 14 years, this system is worn. Due to age, condition and cost to repair, second opinion is recommended. Future failure is expected. Job complete.
