Upon arrival checked in with Mrs.Gillespie and located equipment. Thermostat showed error code that contacts were welded shut. Homeowner had shut off power to prevent any further damage. Turned in power from breaker and outdoor unit immediately turned on with no call for cooling from the thermostat. Shut power off from disconnect. Attempted resetting entire system and made call for coolin. Outdoor control board showed error code PO(comp protector open). Cooled off compressor with water hose and did a hard reset of all components. Cycled system several times to make sure it completely shut off when the thermostat was satisfied. System is cooling properly at this time.
