Found the main living unit extremely low on refrigerant. This is an indication of a leak in the system. My standing R22 psi was at 23 psi. I recommend replacement of the equipment due to the age and the use of the old refrigerant. Mr. Bruno is going to get a quote but doesn’t know if he can financially do the replacement at this time. He asked me to go ahead and fill it up to restore cooling. I explained I wasn’t comfortable doing it due to seeing refrigerant leak out over night when it has been this low. He understood my concerns but wanted to proceed anyway. We added 7 lbs of R22 to the system to restore cooling at this time. We cannot guarantee the refrigerant going forward due to the potential leak. Unable to get static pressure as I didn’t have access to the attic space. Mr. Bruno will have stuff moved for the comfort advisor.
