I found low voltage fuse blown, I replaced fuse and cycled system on. The heat pump tripped on high pressure. I found dirty filter was restricting air flow and causing high pressure. Customer will replace filter to keep Carrier system from overheating.
I found that the inducer motor is not coming on and will need replaced before moving forward. At this point, due to age and condition of system I do not suggest putting any more money into this unit and suggest replacing. Customer would like to move forward with replacement of 1994 Lennox gas furnace.
I returned to adjust return drop and address high discharge temperature. I made some adjustments and the Carrier 80% 70,000 BTU Gas Furnace is working properly at this time.
I performed an installation inspection on a Carrier 80% 70,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 16 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner. Everything working within manufacturers specifications at this time.
