Upon inspection found extremely dirty and blocked evaporator coil, as well as condenser coil. Also found the blower extremely dirty. Both needing to be deep cleaned. Gave estimates for both. Aside from that unit was operating property and within manufacturing specifications.
Upon inspection found the evaporator coil was dirty with blockage. Also found the blower assembly was extremely dirty. Also found a failing contactor. Advised client of these concerns. Wife out of town. Will discuss with her the estimates. Everything else was working properly and within manufacturing specifications at this time.
Routine maintenance inspection revealed that both king valves on the mini split unit are leaking. Heavy rain. Couldn’t continue with inspection. No other issues at the moment.
CONTROL BOARD Replaced control board, and tested system. Unit still blowing fuses. Found shorted heat strip contactor. Reinstalled original control board, replaced failed contactor under limited part warranty and retested system. Unit working in A/C and Heat.
