Customer called for air conditioning stopped working. System was just recently running fine and just stopped cooling. Upon inspection I found the 40+10 dual capacitor fully dead reading 0.2+0.2. In 2019 the capacitor failed early July and then a week or two Later the condenser fan motor went bad. Observing the system and the space above the fan outlet is approximately 2.5 feet. Minimal required space for proper system operation is 4 feet and most likely causing these premature failures. Customer is interested in getting a quote to move condenser around the corner away from under the deck. I will take pictures of the area and add them to customer file so we may come up with best solution. Replaced the capacitor today to get the system operational. Rechecked the amp draw on fan motor and compressor with new capacitor. Fan motor is rated up to 1.1A. Fan motor was reading 1.2A. Compressor is rated for 14.1A. Actual compressor amperage reading was 7.7A. With the fan motor being replaced in
