Came out today for a ac system freezing up. Upon inspection I found that the temperature split was at a 12. I connected my gauges and noticed that the system was low on refrigerant. The system was installed by Chud on 6/26/15. The system is still under warranty so I added 2lbs of 410-a and one ez seal stick. The temperature split is now at 20. I advised the homeowner to let the system run and if it freezes again we will come out and do a leak investigation at a cost of $217. The leak investigation will tell us where the leak is so Chud can give the homeowner a proper quote for repair. The ez seal stick is not a guaranteed fix but an attempt to fix the issue.
