Came out today for a heat pump that froze. Upon arrival I switched the system to heat and observed the system starting normally. I removed the access panels to inspect the system. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. The blower motor amp draw is 6.4 and the supply temp is at 134°F. The heat pump coils are clean but in fair condition. Many of the fins are bent. The refrigerant pressures are within normal range the heat pump amp draws are 1.98 for the fan and 11.87 for the compressor. I continued to let the system run so that I could observe any issues. The system is operating properly at this time no issues could be found.
