Performed preventative maintenance for an attic Unico high velocity air conditioning system. System was just installed fall of 2021. Customer has a concern that the 3rd floor bedroom intended to be a master bedroom is not cooling like it should while the rest of the rooms in the home are maintaining set temperature. Upon initial inspection I found both filters to be very dirty due to home renovations. Replaced both filters first and then proceeded to test the operation of the system. Keep in mind heat within a home rises so the top floor (3rd floor) will always be warmer with the thermostat on the second floor. Started out first doing a temperature split between the supply and return. System was operating at a 20°differential on a 68° day. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. Tested them amp draw for the blower and compressor. Both are operating within the manufacturer specs. System is operating at peak performance at this time with no operational issues.
