Came out today for a no heat call. Upon arrival I noticed that the thermostat was calling for ac and not heat. I turned the system off and called for heat. The system started without any issues. The evaporator coil’s are clean and the homeowner recently replaced the air filter size 15x20x1. All the electrical connections are in good condition. The heat pump is in fair condition. The model and serial number are completely washed away. The indoor air handler is 15 years old. My recommendation is to update the system due to age and current condition. The system is operating properly at this time however chud cannot guarantee that the system won’t have issues in the future due to its age. ADP Air handler model #Rcme34224s002, serial #7107j00595.
