Performed maintenance on Lennox gas furnace. Customer does not have a heat pump. Cleaned burner rack and flame sensing rod. Changed 16x25x1 filter. Performed amp draw on inducer motor. Inducer motor nameplate amperage is rated at 1.75 I was reading 2.0 amps on my meter. I would recommend replacement of inducer motor. System is 14 years old, for best results I would recommend replacement of 90,000 btu furnace and 3 ton AC. 3 ton is large for this size home and customer could definitely lower to Proper size of 2.5 ton. Repair price for inducer motor replacement is $1,175.00 per RC. Collected $255.00. Tested and cycled furnace and it is operational at this time. Price to replace full system with 3 ton Goodman equipment is $9,275.00 Price to replace full system with 3 ton Lennox if available is $10,875.00
