On arrival accessed the existing setup and saw that there is no interior drain. The humidifier is also mounted about 6” away from the electric heat pack. There is no other space to mount the humidifier due to limited space and a tight utility closet. Chud respectfully will not install the humidifier due to risk of exterior gravity drain freezing during winter causing the humidifier to leak and damage the existing indoor air handler and heat pack. We must have an interior drain which is not available for this application. We do recommend a whole house air purifier which will work year round, remove airborne bacteria and viruses, prevent microbial growth and provide a significant improvement for the indoor air quality. Air purifier will have a 5 year warranty and has no filters or drains required. Chud Will service the device by replacing a cell.
