Unit is cooling properly. Checked filter: True Blue. Room addition has attic air entering from leaky canned lights! Room addition has portable air conditioner. I found warm humid air infiltrating into basement from under room addition slab. Basement pressure is slightly negative (- .005 inches water column) with basement door closed, causing additional air infiltration into basement and downdraft of flu vent. Work suggested: recommend 3M brand air filters. Seal air leaks into attic at recessed lighting in room addition. Have insulation in attic checked. Remove basement door or Block basement door from closing all the way to keep pressures
Found system low on Freon. Topped off Freon for temporary cooling. Expect Freon will leak back out. Customer declined leak search at this time. System uses old type of Freon (R22) Checked temperature drop. 15.5. Recommend adjusting blower speed lower. Customer complaint: Had to push in contactor to get AC going last year(happened twice). Work suggested: Freon leak search: $189. Freon leak repair: $? Recommend second transformer for UV lamp.
