Today I came to Dereks Nolan Hill home because he recently experienced a sewer backup. The technician that went out to the call found the drain to be frozen. The line thawed and the system is working now. Upon camera inspection I found the secondary and main sewer from the home is graded away from the home but just barely and the line holds some debris. This may have caused the backup into the vertical pipe that then froze on the exterior wall. A hydro jet cleaning is suggested. The kitchen sink vent piping was never connected and the dishwasher line was connected to the wrong side of the p-trap. This causes sewer gas to enter the home. Derek will consider the options and let us know should he choose to get any work done.
