Today I came to Jamie’s Bayview home to perform the annual Ac system inspection. Upon Ac inspection and service I tested temperature drop, relative humidity, air flow, motor and fan, compressor, capacitor, contactor, evaporator and condensing coils, and refrigerant levels. The system is 14 years old and uses obsolete r22 refrigerant. The refrigerant levels are low and the torque booster / capacitor is rusting on the top. The unit is not equipped with a compressor saver. I have explained my findings to Jamie. He does not wish to put any money into the Ac at this time and will replace it when it finally dies. He is happy with today’s service.
