Today I came to Janet’s Huntington hills home becuase the furnace was not working properly this morning. Upon inspection I found the furnace was running but not getting up to the temperature requested on the thermostat. I checked the furnace filter and it is working well and clean. I checked the gas pressures on low and high and found they were both high. This, and the undersized duct work, caused the furnace to over heat in high speed. I have adjusted the gas pressures to accommodate high fire rate, undersized duct work, and the new ac system that was installed which can cause additional temperature rise. I tested the furnace on low and high with no errors.
