Today I came to Kevin and Tiffany’s Springbank home becuase the furnace stopped working. Kevin has e planned that he had an electrician install a new ecobee thermostat last weekend and the furnace has not been working correctly since then. Upon inspection I found the thermostat was installed incorrectly. Once I rewired the thermostat, ac, and humidifier, I was able to test the furnace. The furnace is vastly over heating with a temperature rise of 91. This is partially caused by the blower motor which is not working as it should and is leaking oil indicating impending failure. The inducing motor is over amperage indicating impending failure.
