Today I came to Pauls Okotoks home because the furnace stopped working over night. Upon diagnostic of the 9 year old system I found it to be in fair condition. The inducing motor, gas valve, safety switches and control board Arne all working well within manufacturers specifications. The ignitions system was replaced 2 years ago and is working well. The pressure switches are sticking when the modulating furnace is calibrating itself. The flame sensor has a very low reading. The pressure switches and flame sensor must be replaced. The system is quite dirty and needs to be cleaned. The home is not equipped with a water softener and the water tank is 9 years old. Scheduled to return once we have acquired the pressure switches. 50% paid today with the remainder due at time of job completion. 25% restocking fee should the job be cancelled.
