Complete 1 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. Customer complained of loud noise coming from the outdoor unit. Tested full system. Found blower motor capacitor to be weak (10uf). Recommend repair. Found no water safety switch installed, recommend adding on to protect floors from water damage. Found electrical pitting present on the main electrical switch, recommend a repair. System has no surge protection. Compressor pulling high amps, recommend hard start kit to take a load off of compressor so it starts up smoother, runs smoother and therefore lasts longer. I could not get loud noise to duplicate itself. Replaced blower capacitor and main electrical switch. installed hard start kit. Replaced parts have a two-year warranty. The system is heating at this time. If the noise comes back within 30 days, no return service call charge, only repair charges for whatever needs to be done.
