Heat pump maintenance in Buford Georgia. One system. Changed filter. Tested electrical and mechanical components. Heat strips not operating due to bad sequencer. Found evaporator coil corroded, rusty and dirty. Likely to leak and restrict air flow. Bad blower capacitor. Blower wheel dirty. Only one form of water protection and no emergency drain pan. Found bad capacitor on heat pump and overheating compressor along with probable refrigerant restriction as previously stated. Found electrical pitting on main electrical switch. Found line set insulation in bad shape. Due to age and condition of system recommend upgrading to a more reliable and efficient system. System is not operating properly at this time.
