Complete 2 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. Upstair system fan runs constantly and set for auto. Disconnect the variable speed plug from the control board and the fan still runs. Found variable speed motor and module stuck close. When switch to the fan on the variable speed board sends a signal to the module to run at a lower cfm. The system is old and needs to be replaced.
