Heating maintenance in Dacula, Georgia. Completed maintenance on 1 furnace. Changed filter. Cleared Beckett tubing. Cleared drain line. Tested mechanical and electrical components. Found blower capacitor still within manufacturer specs but on the weak side, recommend going ahead and changing part out. Surge protector is still fully functional. All other parts are operating properly and furnace is clean. System has no overflow protection switch, recommend adding on to protect furnace from potential water damage. Recommend hard start kit for condenser so system starts smoother, runs smoother and therefore lasts longer. Replaced blower capacitor, part is under warranty, labor is not. Customer may want to revisit having a hard start kit installed in the spring. System is heating at this time.
