Furnace repair. Found burnt wiring in the air-handler. The thermostat is not utilizing both the heat strips and the heat pump. The evaporater coil is very rusted and corroded. The blower capacitor is extremely weak and close to failure. The blower wheel is dirty. The heat-pump has burnt on the main electrical switch. Due to the age and condition of the system I recommend upgrading it to a more reliable and more efficient system. Repaired the wiring and replaced the thermostat. Replaced the blower motor capacitor and replaced the main electrical switch. The system is heating at this time.
