Ac repair in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Found system with bad blower motor. System is a zoned system and has no bypass damper like it is supposed to. Ductwork is undersized. Recommend replacement of blower motor, Installing an 8†return, installing a 10†bypass damper, and installing a 10 inch supply duct that branches out into two 8†ducts upstairs. Customer just wants to replace motor for now. There is no labor warranty on motor because of undersized ductwork and no bypass damper, customer understands that. Replaced blower motor and system is cooling at this time.
