Ac diagnostic in Jefferson, Georgia. Customer says system is not keeping up. Tested system. Found ductwork setup to not be ideal with distribution boxes. System’s water safety is code compliant but has not backup. Found mold growing in system. Found dual capacitor to be very weak (40/5 uf). Found system with no hard start kit. Found system with no surge protection. Recommend ductwork renovation, replacement of capacitor, installing a hard start kit, installing an overflow protection switch, installing surge protection and installing up light system to kill mold and purify air. Replaced capacitor for upstairs system. System is operating at this time.
