Arrived on site to preform a two system maintenance. Inside: found upstairs unit had a blower capacitor reading low and an auxiliary drain pan switch, but no in-line switch. Checked all electrical connections and amp draw , cleared condensation drain line and changed filters. Outside; found both units with low reading capacitors. Recommend replacement and adding compressor assist kits to each unit due to age and to extend the life of the compressors. Cleaned condenser coils and checked refrigerant pressures. Checked all electrical connections and amp draw. Recommend installing surge protection to each unit to protect units from electrical surge. Both units operating at this time.
