Wants a new water heater cause of electrical issues with the power vent. Water heater is 25 years old and needs replacing. Having manager look into a higher btu and the price difference on a 40 gal tall. Almost wants 2 piercing valves sealed up, the kitchen sink replaced and the bathroom bath facet replaced. Pictures are in file.

Customer has a wall mount faucet that is broken and the water is off to this fixture. This fixture is going to be secured to bracing in the wall. Behind the wall is the furnace, which is above the steps to the basement. We would need to go through the front to replace this faucet. Customer does have a faucet she purchased off Amazon by Wowkk. I brought up the point that if we install this faucet, would she be able to get parts for it, or have to go through this again in 5 years or less. I recommended getting a brand name faucet with lifetime warranty that parts are available for. She wants to explore her options and I recommended looking at a plumbing showroom. If we are to replace the faucet, the bracing depth in the wall may need to be changed, and we need access to connect to the existing piping.

Customer has a p trap that keeps falling off and/or leaking. P trap is installed backwards due to the drain pipe coming out of the wall being high, and the sink being very deep and an undermount. Center island sinks are required to be island vented which this one does not appear to be. This would involve opening walls and ceilings to do if necessary. We would need to open the wall to inspect how it is plumbed since the basement is finished. The previous owners removed a wall that the vent used to be in and as a result there is likely no vent. I was able to install the p trap the correct way only after I changed the basket strainer to a shallower strainer from our stock. This prevented us from opening the wall, or removing the dishwasher, or having to install a shallower sink. I filled and dumped the sink multiple times checking for leaks and none found. Do not pour water down the drain that is over 140 degrees because pvc is only rated for 140 degrees. This will cause the pipe and join

Minor toilet tank rebuild on Kohler one piece toilet from 2003. Replaced shark fin flapper, fill valve, and supply line. Dye tested toilet tank to check for any continuation of leaking into the bowl. If noise continues, the shut off valve would need to be replaced at an additional charge and open the wall from behind which we would not repair afterwards.

System off upon arrival. Turned it on to test operation. Inspected drain line, it was clear. There was blockage at the end of the line at floor drain though. Cleared that, system then started to leak water after 10 to 20 mins of run time. Water was spraying off the coil and around it because evaporator coil is dirty again. Due to age and condition, replacement is the best option. Collected half down, 5840.50. Remainder with be collected when work is completed next week Thursday.

50 gallon power vent water heater locked out due to painting that was done in the basement. Water heater turned on and went into a heating cycle after unplugging and plugging it back in. Replaced two carbon, and one owner supplied sediment filter for his reverse osmosis system that was installed in 2006. O rings are worn, and that is a very long lifespan for that kind of system. No warranty or guarantee on filter replacement. Recommend draining the pressure tank down by opening the drinking faucet, then shut it off when the pressure is extremely low. Let the tank refill and build pressure again which can take hours. Check the ice cube tray and sump if necessary too.
