Performed AC maintenance on 2017 unit. Homeowners moved into the home 6 months ago, want to make sure everything is working correctly. They did get a home inspection done by their cousin who is a home inspector and do have a home warranty as well. Cycled system for cooling. Performed attic and duct inspection. Refrigerant levels are in range and system is producing proper temperature split. System is using 407C refrigerant. Checked outdoor unit electrical and system components. Disco box is not fused. Primary motor control is slightly burnt and pitted at bottom contact point. Secondary motor control has gone above its allowed range. Pulled condenser fan motor and thoroughly washed condenser coil inside and out. Filters were recently replaced by customer and they are clean. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner. Wants to hold off on any work for today as well as wants to hold off on maintenance program. Cycled system, system is operational upon departure.
