Arrived on site to perform diagnostic on a 2013 Maytag system. Unit keeps turning on and then off. Upon arrival spoke to client about what’s going. She stated 2 Friday’s age unit would turn off and on and would feel not as cool. She’s says everything work except out door unit would turn on and off and even at time for a couple hours. Inspected indoor unit. Filter was dirty but client supplied her own. Evaporator coil is good and clean at this time. Found temperature split to only be at 16 degrees cooling. Checked out door unit and checked refrigerant pressure. Found unit to be low and is tripping low pressure switch. Advised client I would have to add refrigerant to bring pressure back to range and system cooling in range of 20 degrees and cooling. Went over recommendation and repairs. Client only wants to charge system up at this time. She did declined all of their recommended work at this moment. Charged system up with 3 pounds and got pressure back in range. System is now cool
